This brand new feature at the BBC Summer Good Food Show ncludes the following great sessions:

The Invention Test (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)

Put your culinary skills to the ultimate test! You'll have just 30 minutes to create a dish fit for the MasterChef judges, in front of a live audience! Previous winners from the BBC1 MasterChef series (including the winner of the upcoming new series) will mentor you through the challenge, with the top three contestants’ dishes going forward to the ultimate test - the tastebuds of John Torode and Gregg Wallace themselves.

Spaces on the Invention Test are strictly limited, so make sure you book early to avoid disappointment. Tickets cost £25 (Show admission ticket also required) and will be on sale online and via the BBC Summer Good Food Show telephone box office soon. Keep checking back here for details on the mentors for each session, to see who you're going to get! Mentors include:  Mat Follas, Thomasina Miers, James Nathan and Peter Bayless.

MasterChef Masterclasses

Hone your culinary skills with expert tuition from MasterChef experts including Monica Galetti and Nadia Sawalha in these small group classes. Sessions are limited to just 12 participants, so book early to ensure your place. Tickets cost £15 per person (Show admission ticket also required) and will be on sale soon.

The MasterChef Restaurant

If you're after a fine dining experience, then this is the place for you! Enjoy a 2-course meal inspired by winning dishes from BBC Ones MasterChef for just £21.50 per person. The MasterChef Restaurant sits in the heart of the Show and is the ideal place to sit back, relax and enjoy a delicious meal while surveying the hustle and bustle of the Show.

MasterChef Cook-Offs

These exciting live cookery demonstrations put the culinary skills of two previous MasterChef winners or contestants against each other! With MasterChefs fearsome judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace announcing a winner in each session....there can only be one, but who will it be?

The MasterChef Challenge  - Thursday 17th June

Watch previous winners James Nathan and Thomasina Miers demonstrate their skills and show you the inspiration behind their cooking style in these sessions on the Summer Kitchen – using 5 matching ingredients, each will show you how to create their perfect dish – recipes will be available to take home in your Show Guide.
